Logistics Team Leader
South Birmingham (potential to work from home on occasion)

Our client are looking for a Logistics Team Leader with experience and knowledge working with logistics and freight. Particularly Air Freight.
Skills and Experience required:
Actively managed on board courier/hand carry, air charter, next flight out, express airfreight and express road shipments as a previous daily role
Experience as a team leader in the premium/time critical air charter market, covering the EU and GB. (ideally from automotive or aerospace)
Good leadership skills
Strong network of carrier options in air charter market
Understands EU and UK Customs requirements
Very strong negotiation skills with both carriers (freight procurement) and customers (price offerings)
Strong customer services skills, as this role will involve regular contact with strategic customers both in person and over the phone
Ability to provide a unique selling proposition (USP) to our customers
Driven to deliver results against set targets
Entrepreneurial mindset
Open to travel into EU occassionally
Structured and orgnaised
Good understanding of Intercoms 2020
