My client offer nationwide security solutions to businesses and are experts in providing security guard cover across all industries, including event security, logistics security, student accommodation security and static guarding.
They are looking for a new Business Development Manager to help build pipeline and generate new business opportunities to grow their portfolio working with clients within the Manned Guarding, Leisure Security and Retail Security sectors.
Make cold calls to potential customers to sell services and send follow up emails.
Build a list of decision makers/leads to contact on a regular basis regarding their security solutions.
Connect and engage with prospects via LinkedIn to generate new business
Through market research be able to identify new business opportunities.
Manage your own schedule, plan meetings, write reports and provide weekly updates to the directors.
Use effective methods to reach out to other security companies for acquisitions and mergers.
Utilise search engines to find prospects and add to databases.
Follow up on existing customer quotes via phone and email.
Engage with companies to gain access to their approved suppliers list.
Promote a culture of growth through sales across the business.
Attend tender site visits to prospective clients for manned guarding.
Keep a log of all calls and sales made.
2 years’ experience in B2B Sales ideally in manned guarding, CCTV, Cameras or Fire & Safety.
Based in the west-midlands area.
Full UK driving license
Office based Mon-Wed, Thur-Fri outreach on the road meeting clients
Good time management and ability to respond quickly to changing requirements
Face to face and over the phone sales experience (cold calling)
Good understanding of the security industry, main regulations and buying process
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Confident in leading negotiations
Understand Bid Project Management
SIA License (preferred)
